DP: Genetics explanation

In a way this helps clear the air of what is going in my head when I made my DP next gen, especially for Danny's kids. 

Ghost genetics-
Their ghost half is what I consider mixed. Unlike Danny, they don't have a ghost half that they can switch sizes on, instead they show ghost likeness (Abby with her eyes being blue fading into green, Jack's tipped hair and Stripes white hair in general)  I wanted to try something that stood out for them without being so half and half....which ended up as such but the deed is done.

But to make sense of a ghost half for genetics I took it out of the equation for human genetics. So it's like on the side of things. if not green eyes would be dominate, powers just the same.

I kinda made this out to be just counting money, when I think of this it's like using a dollar and having change.

g- ghost 
H- Human

Being as these are DannyxSam's kids Sam is used for this

Sam- HH
Danny: Hg

so we got HHHg which you can separate it out in percentages as 25% each so 75% for human and 25% for ghost. 1/4 ghost, 3/4 human.

* The twins- Are half of a whole, if one does have the power the other does not. 
    The reason for this is because I felt that would limit them yet make sense considering they came around the same time. But along with that I made them exact opposites in looks and in mind to contribute to the fact of their powers.

*The grump- his powers seem almost unlikely and over powering being just a son of a halfa. But I kinda ghost inspiration of how Danny ghost his powers in general.
    The ghost zone consist of so many ghost and species it's like Danny has an unlockable side of him that he probably couldn't control or unlock. But throigh genetics he could pass on. One being very similar to Clockwork himself
    Yet! He's still limited on his ability being more human then ghost (well in this case Keeper Which I should explain my head canon on that in time to come ) 

Human genetics-
Seems unneeded seeing as you can probably guess the dominant from the recessive.

Except Sam's purple eyes which is unlikely to be born with (and there has been no evidence shown to be that has proven yet that they are, and usually the information shown is indeed false) 

Yet here in the DP universe they do exist so they should make sense of.

Now I don't know how to make this sound smart so I'll just lay it out. Blue eyes are more likely to get over purple. That's how I see it, they would be recessive so blue is more likely.

Yet how Jack got purple eyes so easily is kinda an after effect. I was just doing what would be easier and kinda opposite to Abby.

Reason Black is dominate so much is well..... *shrugs* no real explanation. It's dominate to brown and red or even blonde so I kinda went the simplest to go by.

White hair for Stripes was because I wanted to give him a mixture of Danny's ghost dna only. 

Character design-
Just going to say this once........ I call them my Copy Paste twins ovo 

Jack and Abby are definally shown to be just a mix up of their parents and I wont lie I see it as clear as day. 

BH: Abby and Jack <- when first practicing DP style I looked at Danny and Sam just going by what I saw, nothing more, It wasn't original I know but over the time of developing I have improved them, Abby having more hip for example, Jack doesn't have much change but I did try to look on personality at least.

Stripes on the other hand was definitely different, his hair alone can be shown there. But still I did look at his parents. Sam having her bangs as is, I just parted Stripes and made it as more like his dads. It was subtle bit it shows different look then what I should have Though now I laugh because he looks like Jack frost

Personality- 
In the beginning you could have sworn I just ripped off Danny and Sam, but over time I did at least develop their personality but still kept to them being their kids.

Stubbornness, fearlessness, and Ideas as things that a character can develop from their parents do to observing their parents. If a parent is scared of it, then the child will learn to be scared as well.

habits as well like how Danny rubs his neck or how Sam hits in frustration, these can be shown in them even if it's not exactly the same.

Series in general
Now out of genetics and understanding of gaps in time line.

Stripes is 5 when the twins are 14

when Stripes is 12 the twins will be 21

these series gaps can help see a character before they become something and what happens after.

I did this mostly as an accident because I was wondering what happens to Stripes when he's older as well as what happens to the twins.

It's a growth that shows progression and helps....mostly me, figure out what will become of them.

Universe-
What happens if Phantom Planet never happened, would Danny reveal his secrete? would these character still be as they are? 

I changed this for two reasons one is I hate the idea of the ending I literally hate it! and two it helps give lead way for people to make their own ideas and keep me in the dark =v=
